Davidson to Face Saint Joseph's in Quarterfinals of #A10WTEN Championship

DAVIDSON, N.C. - Davidson women's tennis is set to face the No. 12-seeded Saint Joseph's in the quarterfinals of the Atlantic 10 Championship Tournament on Thursday at the USTA National Campus in Orlando, Fla. First serve is set for 11:30 am EST.Â
The 'Cats handily defeated No. 13-seeded St. Bonaventure on Wednesday, shutting the Bonnies out 4-0 after quickly securing the doubles point and taking wins home on courts 5, 6 and 1 from Franny Shea, Daniela Porges and Josie Schaffer.Â
St. Joe's took a close one over Dayton in the first round, edging the Flyers 4-3. Dayton took the 1-0 lead after taking the doubles point and it was head-to-head from there on out until the last three-set match on court 2.Â
The 'Cats are 6-1 overall against the Hawks, including a 6-1 downing in the 2021 season in Philadelphia.Â
