STATESBORO, Ga. – Led by Keri Rothenberg, the Davidson women's tennis team wrapped up their 2026 fall slate this past weekend at the Georgia Southern Shootout.
"This tournament had very tough competition and every match was a challenge," said Head Coach Susanne Depka. "We ended on a positive note with more positivity and energy. I was proud of how we competed, held ourselves, improved our attitudes and positivity from the previous day. I believe this weekend will better prepare us for what we will face in the spring."
Rothenberg, a sophomore from Wilmette, Ill., finished with a pair of three-set singles victories, while teaming with Lilly Dwyer to defeat Grace Sout / Marie Egeland Henriksen (Wofford), 6-1, in the main double draw.
Each of Rothenberg's singles matches went to a third set, highlighted by wins over Zoe Dupaty (North Florida) and Sasha Dimitrov (Furman).
Dwyer and Teagan Reilly also picked up singles wins for the 'Cats over the weekend.
