Baker Drive and behind the Baker Sports Complex

The Davidson Tennis Court facility is the home of the Wildcat Men's and Women’s tennis teams, in addition to the indoor courts at the Knobloch Indoor Tennis Center next to the Baker Sports Complex. The new 12-court open air tennis complex, a $1.55 million project, was built and finished in the summer of 2015. It replaced the old Covington Tennis Courts, which do not adhere to industry standards and were suffering increasing asphalt fatigue. Half of the courts are equipped with spectator grandstands and the project also included installation of infrastructure for lights, which will be installed at a future date.
Men's tennis coach Drew Barrett said, "Our players are extremely excited about the improvements, and in terms of recruiting it will put us on the same footing facilities-wise as our new Atlantic 10 Conference opponents and other top teams nationwide."
In addition to the new courts that were built, extensive renovation and enlargement of the men's and women's tennis locker rooms in Knobloch Tennis Center were also completed in the Fall of 2014.
