DAVIDSON, N.C. - Davidson women's tennis closed out the weekend with a 6-1 loss to the JMU Dukes on Sunday at home. The 'Cats fall to 9-6 on the season.
"JMU is a strong team, and they didn't give a lot away," head coach Susanne Depka. "I believe that we are capable of beating them. This week will be important for us to practice the right mind set under pressure situations to better help us during matches. We will also work towards practicing the targets and shots we know we can hit, even against a quality opponent."
Josie Schaffer picked up the lone win for the Wildcats, beating her opponent 7-5, 7-6 (4).
UP NEXT
The Wildcats will hit the road next weekend for a two-game road swing to face George Washington and George Mason.
