Davidson Concludes Regular Season Saturday at Fordham

DAVIDSON, N.C. -- The Davidson women's basketball team is set to conclude the regular season this weekend, taking on the Fordham Rams at 2 p.m. from inside Rose Hill Gym.
INSIDE THE SERIES
LAST TIME OUT... Chloe Welch scored 13 points, and Suzi-Rose Deegan added 11 as the Davidson Wildcats overcame an eight-point first-half deficit to defeat George Washington 51-46 in Belk Arena on Wednesday night. With the win, Davidson completed the home-and-home season sweep over the Colonials.
ONE HUNDO... Wednesday night was Davidson's final home game of the 2021-22 season, and was also senior Cassidy Gould's 100th career start. Fellow senior Chloe Welch also made her 100th career game appearance on February 16 against La Salle.
PROTECT THIS HOUSE... This season, the 'Cats ended the home season 7-6 on McKillop Court, their fourth consecutive winning season at home.
WELCH'S WATCH... Senior guard Chloe Welch has heated up in the backhalf of A-10 play, scoring in double-figures in her last seven straight games, while averaging 18.3 points per game during that stretch.

- The Wildcats' conference rival, Fordham, holds the all-time series record at an 11-5 advantage.
- Dating back to the 2018-19 season, the 'Cats and Rams have exchanged wins, with Davidson going 3-4 and Fordham going 4-3 in the recent series.
