Field Hockey Falls at No. 11 Saint Joseph's

PHILADELPHIA — The No. 11 field hockey team in the country proved too much for the Davidson Wildcats Friday afternoon, as Saint Joseph's remained out front in the Atlantic 10 standings with a 6-0 win.
The Wildcats held the Hawks scoreless for more than a quarter Friday, until Sol Borenzstein's goal off a penalty corner got Saint Joseph's on the scoreboard. The Hawks led it 1-0 at the half before adding two third-quarter goals.
Cassidy Atchison scored 5:29 into the third, and Freke van Tilburg scored less than two minutes later. The Hawks then added three goals in the fourth, including two from Lily Santi and one from Anna Miller.
