
OrthoCarolina Sponsors Battle for the Hornets' Nest Game

Charlotte Sports Properties & Davidson Sports Properties are proud to partner with OrthoCarolina to present the 2020 Battle for the Hornets' Nest on Tuesday, December 15 at 7 p.m.
This year's game, which will be played at Davidson's Belk Arena, will be the 47th men's basketball game between the Davidson Wildcats and Charlotte 49ers. Charlotte leads the all-time series, 29-17.
The Hornets' Nest series began in the 1978-79 season. Charlotte won the 2019 Battle for the Hornets' Nest Trophy, 71-58, inside Halton Arena to reclaim the Hornets' Nest Trophy after six straight Davidson wins. Following the game, the winning team will be presented with the Hornets' Nest trophy to remain on their campus for the year.
