Grady Named A-10 Player of the Week

NEWPORT NEWS, Va. – Fresh off leading Davidson to a thrilling come-from-behind win at St. Bonaventure, sophomore Kellan Grady has been named Atlantic 10 Player of the Week, as announced by the league office Monday.

In the Wildcats' lone game last week, Grady led all scorers with a game-high 29 points on 10-of-17 shooting, including five of his team's 14 3-pointers. The 2018 A-10 Rookie of the Year also recorded 4 rebounds, 3 assists and a steal.

After the Bonnies went back in front 55-54 on a Kyle Lofton jumper, Grady answered with 10 straight points to spark a 16-4 Davidson (16-5, 7-1) run and put the game out of reach.

This is third time Grady has been honored by the league this season and eighth weekly award of his brief career.

Davidson, which sits alone atop the A-10 standings, returns to Belk Arena Wednesday evening for a nationally-televised (ESPNU) contest against Rhode Island at 7 p.m.
