NEWPORT NEWS, Va. – Davidson's Hyunjung Lee has been named Atlantic 10 Men's Basketball Rookie of the Week, as announced by the league office Monday morning.
A freshman from Yongin City, South Korea, Lee helped the Wildcats to an 88-52 win over Coppin State last week with his first career double-double.
In addition to his 17-point, 10-rebound performance, the 6-7 guard finished 7-of-11 from the floor and drilled a pair of 3-pointers in just 25 minutes action.
Through his first 10 games, Lee is averaging 7.0 points and 3.6 rebounds per contest.
