BOONE, N.C. - A pair of Wildcat half milers competed for women's track and field at the Mountaineer Outdoor Meet Saturday at Ike Belk Track.
Davidson's Eleni Daughters and Claire Nieusma tuned up for next weekends Atlantic 10 Championship with successful 800 meter runs, finishing second third overall, respectively. Daughters stopped the clock in 2:13.59, a new personal best, while Nieusma was next across the line in 2:15.29.
The 'Cats open day one of the of the Atlantic 10 Outdoor Championship Saturday, May 6 at George Mason Stadium.
