Men's 4x400 Competes at Penn Relays

PHILADELPHIA, Pa. - The Davidson men's 4x400-meter relay went to the prestigious Penn Relays and posted their second best result all-time Friday at Franklin Field.
Competing in the first heat, the team of Sean Caveney, Miles Hollimon, Jacob Hostetler and George Williams raced the baton 1600 meters around the track in 3:15.49, just outside of their program record (3:15.07) set Apr. 7 at the Gamecock Invitational. The squad placed 22nd of 64 teams, narrowly missing out qualifying for Saturday's 4x400 College final race.
Davidson returns to the track Saturday, May 5 for the opening day of the Atlantic 10 Outdoor Championship at George Mason Stadium.
