Andrabadu’s Two Silver Medals in 100m and 200m Highlight ‘Cats Day Two at A-10 Championships

FAIRFAX, VA – Sineth Andrabadu earned a silver medal in both the 100m and 200m at the 2026 A-10 Outdoor Championships on Sunday afternoon. The freshman is the first Wildcat to earn a silver medal in the 200m at A-10 Outdoor Championships since Jacob Hostetler in 2018. He is also the first Wildcat to earn a podium spot in the 100m at the outdoor conference meet.
Andrabadu ran 10.61 in the 100m, which was only .01 seconds off the winner. The freshman ran 21.49 in the 200m, which was also just .01 seconds shy of the winner.
The Wildcats also set the school record in the 4x100m relay on Sunday afternoon. AJ Kurtz, Sineth Andrabadu, Carter Calliott, and Malcolm Cook ran 40.74 and finished third overall.
The 4x400m relay put down a season-best time of 3:16.29 as well.
Quinn Swanton had the second-best result among freshmen in the 5000m with a time of 14:53.23. John Cooper finished 12th overall with a time of 14:44.65 in this event.
The 'Cats finished sixth overall as a team with 53 points.
