
Aldridge to Play in Reese's® Division I College All-Star Game

KANSAS CITY, Mo. – Ranked third on Davidson's all-time scoring list, Peyton Aldridge has been selected to participate in the 2018 Reese's® Division I College All-Star Game to be played on Reese's Final Four Friday®, March 30, at 4:30 p.m. (ET) at the Alamodome in San Antonio.
The game will be televised on CBS Sports Network.
Aldridge, the 2018 Atlantic 10 Co-Player of the Year and Tournament's Most Outstanding Player, finished his standout career behind Stephen Curry (2,635) and John Gerdy (2,483) on Davidson's all-time scoring list with 2,171 career points, which is also fifth in league history.
In addition, Aldridge ranks among the program's all-time leaders in rebounds (892/3rd), 3-pointers made (239/6th), free-throw percentage (.827/5th), blocks (116/3rd) and starts (130/1st).
A three-time all-conference performer, Aldridge led Davidson (21-12) to its first-ever Atlantic 10 Tournament title and program's 14th NCAA Tournament appearance in 2018.
During his four-year standout career, the Wildcats posted an 82-48 overall record, 45-27 conference mark, won a regular season title, a conference tournament crown and appeared in three postseason tournaments (2015 & 2018 NCAA Tournament / 2016 NIT).
Aldridge will play for the East Team coached by Yale's James Jones. Boston University head coach Joe Jones will lead the West All-Stars.
The game features 22 of the nation's most outstanding college senior student-athletes selected by the National Association of Basketball Coaches (NABC).
Aldridge is the fourth (Jake Cohen – 2013; Tyler Kalinoski – 2015; Jack Gibbs - 2017) Wildcat to take part in the event since 2013.

Located in Kansas City, Missouri, the NABC was founded in 1927 by Forrest "Phog" Allen, the legendary basketball coach at the University of Kansas. Allen, a student of James Naismith, the inventor of basketball, organized coaches into this collective group to serve as Guardians of the Game.
