KINGSTON, R.I. – The Davidson women's track and field team is set to compete at the 2018 Atlantic 10 Indoor Championship Feb. 17-18 at Mackal Field House. The first event is slated for 9 a.m. on Saturday and concludes Sunday.

2017 A-10 Champs
Caroline Yarbrough claimed her second indoor 3k title in as many tries, helping lead the 'Cats to a ninth place result. In all, Davidson set six program records and registered 48 points, landing 10 athletes in top-eight positions.

Record Breaking
The 2017-18 indoor 'Cats have left their mark on the record book, resetting seven school records throughout the season. Tori Long snapped her own 400-meter record and went on to reset the 500m mark, as well. Sarah Sears reset her own mile time (4:47.44) and snapped Caroline Yarbrough's 3k mark (9:20.92), while Yarbrough broke Sears' 5k record (16:31.50). Stephanie Hautamaa continues to raise the bar in the vault. The junior cleared 3.45-meters (11'3.75) at the Wake Forest Invitational.

The Champ Is Here
Caroline Yarbrough enters her third A-10 Championship with a combined three championship crowns and counting. The junior Greensboro, N.C., native has a pair of 3k crowns and earned her first outdoor title last season, running away from the field in the 5k at Massachusetts.

Coaches Comments – Jen Straub
"The women's team has shown great improvement throughout the indoor season. We are looking forward to competing in the A-10 Championship where we hope to make an impact in the middle distance and distance events and relays. We also will look to our field event competitors to have a strong showing in their respective events, as well. I have been extremely pleased with our rate of improvement throughout the year and, if we continue to excel at this rate, we will run well this weekend."
