
Grady Tabbed Atlantic 10 Co-Player of the Week

NEWPORT NEWS, Va. – After a pair of 25-point performances, Davidson's Kellan Grady has been named Atlantic 10 Player of the Week for the second time this season, as announced by the league office Monday afternoon. Grady shares this week's honor with George Mason's Otis Livingston II.
For the week, Grady averaged 25.0 points, 3.5 rebounds, 2.0 assists and 1.5 steals per game, while torching the nets for 71.4 percent (20-28), including 7-for-12 from long range.
After leading the 'Cats to their sixth straight win over cross-county rival Charlotte with 25 points, the sophomore guard finished 11-of-14 from the floor, grabbed 5 rebounds and handed out 3 assists in Davidson's victory at UNCW on Saturday.
On the season, Grady is averaging a team-high 19.4 points and 4.0 rebounds, while shooting 53.1 percent from the floor and 81.8 percent at the line.
Backcourt mate and fellow preseason all-conference performer, Jon Axel Gudmundsson, also had an impressive week for Davidson (7-1), averaging 22.5 points, 8.5 rebounds and 6.0 assists, while shooting 54.2 from the floor and going a perfect 14-of-14 at the charity stripe.
