OrthoCarolina Sponsors Annual Battle for the Hornets' Nest Game

Davidson Sports Properties with Learfield & Charlotte IMG Sports Marketing are proud to partner with OrthoCarolina to present the 2018 Battle for the Hornets' Nest on Tuesday, November 27 at 7 p.m.
This year's game, which will be played at John M. Belk Arena, will be the 45th men's basketball game between the Davidson Wildcats and Charlotte 49ers. Charlotte leads the all-time series, 28-16.
The Hornets' Nest series began in the 1978-79 season. Davidson won the 2017 Battle for the Hornets' Nest Trophy 85-70 in Halton Arena to mark five straight victories in the series. Following the game, representatives from OrthoCarolina will present the Hornets' Nest trophy to the winning team.
