Grady Selected A-10 Co-Rookie of the Week

NEWPORT NEWS, Va. – Davidson's Kellan Grady has been selected Atlantic 10 Co-Rookie of the Week for games played Jan. 8-14, as announced by the league office Monday afternoon.
Grady shares this week's honor with Carl Pierre of UMass.
A freshman guard from Boston, Mass., Grady finished the week averaging 16.5 points, 3.5 rebounds and 1.5 assists per game, while shooting 57.1 percent (12-for-21) from the floor and canning 5-of-8 (.625) 3-pointers.
After a game-high 19 points in Davidson's win over George Washington, Grady capped his week with 14 points, including four 3-pointers in the Wildcats' fourth straight win, a 75-45 triumph at Fordham.
For Grady, it was his third weekly honor this season, and sixth for the Wildcats in all.
Davidson (9-7, 4-1 A-10) returns home to John M. Belk Arena Friday for a nationally-televised (ESPN2) contest against St. Bonaventure at 7 p.m.
