DAVIDSON, N.C. — In its final regular season game, the Davidson women's lacrosse team will honor their seniors Saturday afternoon with an Atlantic 10 contest against George Mason inside Richardson Stadium.

Davidson wraps up its regular season with a Senior Day game vs. George Mason (10-6, 6-2 A-10) Saturday at 1 p.m. inside Richardson Stadium. Prior to the game, the Wildcats will honor their six seniors Dana Stasieluk, Morgan Burch, Annie Brockett, Nicole Pettiglio, and Abigail and Kendall Thielemann.

The All-Time Series/Last Meeting...
Davidson is just 1-4 in the all-time series vs. the Patriots, which dates back to 1994. The two teams have split the last two meetings, each winning by one goal apiece. Last year the 'Cats dropped an 8-7 decision on the road, despite getting two goals from Nicole Pettiglio in the final 32 seconds to get within one goal before the final horn.

Goalie Rose Woolson is slowing climbing into the Wildcats' record books. She moved into the top-eight in career saves, sitting at 255. She is also in the top-eight in minutes and her current goals against average is third all-time (9.80).
Senior Annie Brockett moved into the top-10 in goals, currently ranking 8th with 92. She also has 113 career points, 49 of them this year which is a new career high for the senior. Brockett is 20 points away from reaching the top-10 all-time.
Weekly Awards...
Feb. 28- Senior Annie Brockett and junior Rose Woolson collected their first weekly awards of the 2017 women's lacrosse season as the duo were named the Atlantic 10 Player and Defender of the Week. Brockett earned her first career weekly honor, while Woolson earns her third career award after picking up the defender of the week twice last season. Brockett had a career week in leading Davidson to a 2-0 record in games at home against Siena and William & Mary. The senior captain had 10 goals and an assist for 11 points, while going 3-for-3 on free-position shots and adding a caused turnover. Woolson picked up two wins in goal, finishing the week with an 8.00 goals against average, 19 saves, eight groundballs and one caused turnover.
April 25- Junior goalie Rose Woolson and freshman midfielder Shayne Antolini were named Co-Defender and Co-Rookie of the Weeks, as announced by the league office Tuesday for games played from April 17-23. The duo helped lead Davidson (7-8, 5-3 A-10) to a 2-0 week in road games at VCU and La Salle, pushing the team's win streak to three in a row. Antolini had a stellar week, tallying six goals, and team highs of six assists, 12 points and six groundballs. She also added four draw controls. In a 17-6 win at La SAlle, the freshman from Babylon, N.Y., recorded season highs of four goals and four assists for eight points, which set a team season high this year. Her four assists tied a team season high. Woolson handled the defensive end for the Wildcats, finishing the week with two wins, an 8.33 goals against average and 23 saves, while tying for the team lead with six groundballs. She played all 60 minutes, holding the Rams to just three goals in the second half, and stopping a career-high 15 shots.
Last Time Out...
DAVIDSON — Five players had multiple goals and Davidson won its third straight by scoring its most goals of the season in a 17-6 victory at La Salle last Sunday.
The Wildcats (7-8, 5-3 A-10) were paced by freshman Shayne Antolini's season-high eight points on season bests of four goals and four assists, while senior Annie Brockett registered six points on a game-high five goals and one assist. With her five goals, the senior pushed her career best mark to 49 this season and moved into the Wildcats' top-10 all-time in goals.

Antonili (1 goal, 3 assists) and Brockett (3 goals) helped Davidson put the game away by combining for four goals and three assists during a 6-0 run early in the second half to turn a four-goal lead into a 13-4 advantage with 14:35 left on the clock.

Christine Molinari had three points on two goals and an assist, while Sarah Kopp rounded out the multi-goal scorers for the 'Cats with two of her own scores.
Last Time Out..
George Mason — The George Mason women's lacrosse team nearly knocked off the champ. The Patriots led for most of the game but couldn't hold off a second-half rally by Massachusetts in an 18-17 loss on Sunday at Garber Field. Mason scored with 1:56 left to pull within one but the Minutewomen won the ensuing draw control. UMass ran out the clock for its 53rd straight Atlantic 10 Conference victory, extending its NCAA record conference-winning streak.
Freshman Melissa Semkiw made a career-high 19 saves and senior captains Brooke Lorber and Alexa McGovern each notched six-point games with four goals and two assists apiece.
UMass battled back from a five-goal deficit in the first half to take an 18-15 lead with 3:42 remaining. The Patriots (10-6, 6-2) didn't quit, though, scoring twice in 23 seconds.
