DAVIDSON, N.C. —
Davidson will cap off the Easter weekend by hosting Duquesne Saturday in Atlantic 10 women's lacrosse action inside Richardson Stadium.

The Opening Draw Control...
Davidson (4-7, 2-2 A-10) continues its A-10 play after facing Richmond Thursday by hosting Duquesne (3-10, 1-4 A-10) Saturday at 12 p.m.

The All-Time Series/Last Meeting...
Duquesne holds a 7-3 lead in the all-time series that dates back to 1997. The Wildcats are seeking to snap a three-game skid in the series. They fell 8-4 last year, getting outscored 5-2 in the final 4:29 of the first and the entire second half. Pettiglio had her fourth multi-goal game of the season with a pair of scores, while Annie Brockett scored a goal.

Record Watch...
Goalie Rose Woolson is slowing climbing into the Wildcats' record books. She moved into the top-eight in saves, sitting at 201. She is also in the top-eight in minutes and her current goals against average is second all-time (9.66).

Senior Annie Brockett has an outside shot of getting in the top-10 in goals, sitting at 73. Erin Doherty and Emily Rademacher are tied for 10th place with 89 goals for their careers. She also has 90 career points, 26 of them this year which is six away from tying her career best set in 2016.

Weekly Awards...
Feb. 28- Senior Annie Brockett and junior Rose Woolson collected their first weekly awards of the 2017 women's lacrosse season as the duo were named the Atlantic 10 Player and Defender of the Week. Brockett earned her first career weekly honor, while Woolson earns her third career award after picking up the defender of the week twice last season. Brockett had a career week in leading Davidson to a 2-0 record in games at home against Siena and William & Mary. The senior captain had 10 goals and an assist for 11 points, while going 3-for-3 on free-position shots and adding a caused turnover. Woolson picked up two wins in goal, finishing the week with an 8.00 goals against average, 19 saves, eight groundballs and one caused turnover.


Last Time Out...
DAVIDSON — Prior to facing Richmond Thursday, senior attacker Annie Brockett scored a season and career-high tying six goals in leading Davidson to a 13-1 Atlantic 10 win at home last Sunday against St. Bonaventure in women's lacrosse inside Richardson Stadium.

Brockett finished with seven points to tie a personal best and gave her a team-high 36 overall on the season. She has a career-high 30 goals, pushing her career total to 82 which is just outside the Wildcats' top-10 all-time. The seven points also gave her 100 for her career.
 
The one goal allowed by the Wildcats (4-7, 2-2 A-10) is the third time in program history they have accomplished the feat. They also did it against Ohio (21-1) in 1999 and Denver (14-1) in 2001.
 
Davidson put the game away early by scoring four goals in the first 14 minutes on its way to a 7-0 lead at halftime. Brockett picked up three of her goals along with an assist in the first half.

Last Time Out..
Duquesne —The Dukes, which play St. Bonaventure Thursday, recently fell to Saint Joseph's at home last weekend, 19-7. Emily McMinimee matched a career-high 11 saves and Tess Drotar netted a pair of goals in the setback at Rooney Field. 

Duquesne got within 9-6 at halftime, but Saint Joseph's outscored the Dukes 10-1 on its way to the win. The Dukes' Kenna Gubler's three caused turnovers were a game high, while Drotar and Rilee Bradshaw led the Dukes, winning three draw controls each. Megan Konieczny and Bradshaw each recorded a team-high two ground balls, with Konieczny also adding a goal.
