DAVIDSON, N.C. —
Davidson plays its lone home game for the month of March on Sunday when it hosts Campbell at Richardson Stadium in a women's lacrosse game.

The Opening Draw Control...
Davidson (2-2, 0-0 A-10) hosts Campbell (1-4, 0-0 Big South) for its lone home game in the month of March on Sunday at 2 p.m. The Wildcats will then play Winthrop (March 19), Elon (March 26) and Saint Joseph's (March 31) all on the road to finish out the month.

The All-Time Series/Last Meeting...
Davidson leads the series 2-0 as Campbell just started its women's lacrosse program a few years back.

The last meeting took place in 2014, where the 'Cats took a 14-7 road win behind five players who scored two or more goals. Emma Sissman led Davidson with three goals to give her a team-high 27. Ann Fucigna had a game-high tying four points on two goals and two assists. The Wildcats raced out to a 4-0 lead and led 9-4 at halftime before sealing the win with five more goals in the second half.

Record Watch...
Goalie Rose Woolson is slowing climbing into the Wildcats' record books. She moved into the top-eight in saves, sitting at 157. She is also in the top-eight in minutes and her current goals against average is tops all-time (9.24).

Senior Annie Brockett has an outside shot of getting in the top-10 in goals, sitting at 67. Erin Doherty and Emily Rademacher are tied for 10th place with 89 goals for their careers.

Weekly Awards...
Feb. 28- Senior Annie Brockett and junior Rose Woolson collected their first weekly awards of the 2017 women's lacrosse season as the duo were named the Atlantic 10 Player and Defender of the Week. Brockett earned her first career weekly honor, while Woolson earns her third career award after picking up the defender of the week twice last season. Brockett had a career week in leading Davidson to a 2-0 record in games at home against Siena and William & Mary. The senior captain had 10 goals and an assist for 11 points, while going 3-for-3 on free-position shots and adding a caused turnover. Woolson picked up two wins in goal, finishing the week with an 8.00 goals against average, 19 saves, eight groundballs and one caused turnover.

Last Time Out...
DAVIDSON — Despite winning the second half battle in goals scored, Davidson was unable to overcome a seven-goal deficit at halftime in falling on the road 15-9 to Jacksonville.

The Dolphins (1-3) used an 8-0 run to erase the Wildcats' one-goal lead in the first half and go up 11-4 at the break.

Freshman Genna Portner netted a season-best four goals and Annie Brockett pushed her season total to a team-best 15 with three scores to help pace the offense for Davidson (2-2). Shayne Antolini registered her first three collegiate assists and Christine Molinari added two.

Davidson tied things up early at 2-all on back-to-back scores from Portner and Brockett off assists from Antolini. Portner added another goal at the 23:23 mark for a 3-2 lead before the Dolphins tied it up less than a minute later. Brockett would give the 'Cats their final lead at 4-3 on a free-position goal before JU went on its 8-0 run.

Last Time Out..
CAMPBELL — The Campbell women's lacrosse team scored their first win of the season with a dramatic 14-13 neutral site win against Atlantic 10 foe La Salle Friday afternoon on the campus of Stetson.

Down 13-12 with four minutes to go, the Camels scored the tying goal with 3:26 left and then Kate Matz netted the game-winner less than a minute later for the one-goal win. Those last two goals were part of a 7-2 run in the last 16 minutes that helped Campbell erase an 11-7 deficit.

Melissa Placek led all scorers with five goals, getting three of them during the game-change second half run. Kayla Reilly had six points on three goals and three assists.

In goal, Kylie Haarhoff came in relief and earned the win by allowing just five goals in the final 22 minutes. She was credited with one save.
