Lankiewicz, who qualified in three events, the 100, 200, and 500 freestyle, will begin competition with the prelims of the 500 free on Thursday morning, around 11:00 a.m. She will swim in the 200 free on Friday morning, and the 100 on Saturday.
She is ranked 30th nationally in the 200 freestyle, after a 1:45.14 cut set a new league, meet, school, and facility record at last month's A-10 Championships. In addition to Lankiewicz, the field will consist of All-Americans, Olympians, and Olympic Gold Medalists.
Lankiewicz made program history after she became just the third Wildcat to qualify for the championships, and was the only female to advance from the Atlantic 10 this season. The three-time A-10 Performer of the Year also made league history earlier in the season, winning six Performer of the Week honors, bringing her career total to 11.
A Bryan Scholar, Lankiewicz is also a three-time member of the conference's All-Academic Team.
ESPN3 will stream the event finals on Friday and Saturday. The Wednesday evening session, as well as both Thursday sessions, and the morning sessions of Friday and Saturday will be streamed live on NCAA.com and indianasportcorp.org/ncaasd.
