LAST TIME OUT
The Wildcats (4-11, 0-4 SoCon) won in dramatic fashion Saturday at Belmont Abbey, claiming a 20-19 victory over the Crusaders by way of an unsportsmanlike point deduction in the final bout of the day. The 'Cats picked up two quick wins from Camden Bertucci and Dustin Runzo. Bertucci registered his second consecutive victory with a 14-3 major at 125-pounds, while Runzo used a final minute takedown to edge his opponent at 133-pounds, 2-1.Â
Despite losing four bouts in-a-row, freshman Conor Fenn gave the 'Cats new life with his team-leading fourth fall of the year at 174-pounds and kicked off a streak of three straight bout wins with Konner Pritchard and Ryan Devlin following suit. Pritchard survived a tight 6-5 decision, while Devlin dominated in a major, 17-7.
SENIOR NIGHT
Davidson will bid farewell to a lone senior Sunday night, 197-pounder Michael Moore. Moore will be recognized for his accomplishments and contributions to Davidson athletics prior to the 'Cats final home match of the season against Gardner-Webb.
