DAVIDSON, N.C. — Coming off an impressive comeback win Monday at High Point, Davidson looks to carry that momentum into its annual cross-county rivalry game against Charlotte Thursday, hosting the 49ers at 2 p.m. inside John M. Belk Arena.

This is the final home game of the calendar year for the Wildcats (4-7) before they head to UCF, Dec. 28, to close out their non-conference schedule.

Last Game Out at High Point, Dec. 18 ...
Justine Lyon led four players in double figures with a season-high 25 points and Davidson overcame a 19-point deficit in the third quarter to score an 82-74 comeback win on the road.
•Lyon led the big comeback with 18 fourth-quarter points and six rebounds, as she tallied her second straight double-double with a career-high rebounds and dished out a season-best five assists.
•Davidson trailed 59-40 in the third quarter before starting its comeback, closing the quarter on an 11-4 run to get within 63-51 and then outscored HPU 31-11 in the final quarter to secure the win.
Ally Welling had a career high game with 16 points on 7-of-10 shooting. Mackenzie Latt filled the box score with 11 points, eight rebounds, a season-high five assists and two blocks.
•Senior Saadia Timpton matched her career best with 10 points and pulled in six boards.

Donovan A-10 Rookie of the Week, Nov. 20 ...
Sarah Donovan grabbed the Wildcats' first weekly award by being named the league's rookie of the week, Nov. 20, vs. Furman and App. State after averaging 14.5 points and 7.0 rebounds a game.
•She scored a season-high 15 points to go with nine boards at Furman and added another 14 points at App. State in leading the 'Cats to a win.

Wildcat All-Time Record Watch ...
Mackenzie Latt became the 19th Wildcat to reach 1,000 points last year and currently sits in 8th with 1,283, needing 17 points to move into 7th.
•She already ranks in the top-15 in career scoring average (8th, 13.1), blocks (6th, 91), field goals made (4th, 554) and attempted (6th, 1,237), and rebounds (6th, 724).

Random Notes ...
Justine Lyon was named the A-10 Most Improved Player in 2016-17.
•Dating back to last season, the junior has scored in double digits in 31 of her last 34 games.
•She tallied her first two career double-doubles vs. Gardner-Webb and at High Point.
•The junior has paced the team in scoring seven times this year, hitting a season-high 25 at HPU.
Mackenzie Latt, who twice has had 13 boards, has 24 career double-digit rebounding games.
•Latt has 21 career double-doubles (two this year), with 11 of them coming as a freshman.
Katie Turner's six triples at Furman were the most since Hannah Early had six vs. VCU (2/27/16).
•Davidson dished out a season-high 17 assists at High Point and has 8 double-digit assist games.
•Davidson had a season-high 47 rebounds at Furman this year, matching last year's season best.

•The Wildcats trail the series vs. the 49ers 17-10 and have lost the last eight meetings in a row.
•This will be the sixth straight year the cross-county rivals have faced each other.
•Last year at Charlotte, Davidson fell 93-79, despite 30 points from Justine Lyon and a double-double from Mackenzie Latt on 28 points and 14 rebounds.

Scouting the 49ers ...
•Charlotte comes into Thursday's game with 3-7 record after falling to Wake Forest on Monday (71-69).
•It has lost five of the last six games, with the lone win coming against Coppin State, but four of the defeats have been decided by three mores or less.
•Laia Raventos paces team in scoring (14.4 ppg), assists (49), steals (30), field goal percentage (.466) and three-point percentage (.667).
•Amaya Ransom (13.4 ppg) and Octavia Wilson (10.6) are both averaging in double figures in scoring.
•Dara Pearson is pulling in a team-best 8.8 rebounds a game.
•Charlotte is just 1-4 on the road this season.
•The 49ers were picked to finish fourth in Conference USA after going 12-6 in league play and 21-10 overall a year ago.
•Head coach Cara Consuegra is in her seventh season and has won 115 games, the second-most in program history.
