DAVIDSON, N.C. -Â Davidson wrestling opens up the 2017-18 home slate Tuesday night when Limestone visits Belk Arena for a non-conference dual against the Saints. First bout is slated for 7 p.m.Â

LAST TIME OUT
Tony Palumbo placed fifth at the Wolf Pack Open, going 5-1 in the 157-pound class. The junior won all five bouts by way of decision and improved his record to 7-5 this season. Classmate Aidan Conroy earned a pair of pins before falling in the 149-pound consolation quarterfinals. Conor Fenn picked up his second fall of the season, while Dustin Runzo, Noah Satterfield, Ryan Devlin and Hunter Costa all saw their hands raised throughout the day.Â

The Wildcats picked up their first dual win of the season at Greensboro behind a four-pin assault, 41-9. Hunter Costa (165), Noah Satterfield (174), Conor Fenn (184) and Will Cooley (HWT) all won with a fall to help Davidson earn the healthy win. After his five-win day at the Wolf Pack Open, Tony Palumbo moved to 7-5 at 157-pounds early in the season and jumped back above .500 in his career (28-27).Â
LAST TIME THEY MET
Will Cooley (HWT) and Conor Fenn (174) each pinned a Saint, but Davidson fell at Limestone last December, 30-16. Dustin Runzo was the third 'Cat to get his hand raised, earning a decision over Austin Jamison, 4-3.
