Aldridge Named A-10 Co-Player of the Week

NEWPORT NEWS, Va. – Senior Peyton Aldridge of the Davidson men's basketball team has been named Atlantic 10 Co-Player of the Week, as announced by the league office Monday.
Aldridge shares this week's honor with Luwane Pickin of UMass.
In addition to scoring his 1,500th career point, Aldridge led four Wildcats in double figures with a personal-best 37 points (26 first half) in Davidson's 108-81 win over UNC Wilmington.
The 6-8 forward finished 15-of-24 from the floor to go along with five rebounds in 36 minutes of action.
Aldridge is the third Wildcat to claim a weekly honor this season as Jon Axel Gudmundsson and Kellan Grady were recognized last week.
Davidson returns to action Tuesday evening with a 7 p.m. (PT) / 10 p.m. (ET) contest at Nevada.
