
Men's Track & Field Take Three Wins at UNCG Duals

WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. - The Davidson men's track and field team earned three individual victories Sunday at the UNCG Duals at JDL Fast Track.
Wildcat sophomore Dylan Carmack claimed first in the mile run. The Chattanooga, Tenn., native set a new personal best time with a time of 4:22.36 en route to victory. Senior Michael Schroeder was fifth, crossing the in 4:31.12.
Freshman Sam Thomas also claimed a top spot, winning the 3k run with a time of 8:48.15, over 10 seconds faster than the nest fastest competitor.
A duo of Davidson pole-vaulters led the leader board at the end of the day led by James Davis' clearing of 4.40 meters. Gram Davis cleared 4.10 meters to take second behind his teammate, while Nathan Winn tied for third with a 3.95-meter mark.
Davidson returns to the start line Friday, Feb. 3 in the opening day of the Camel City Classic at JDl Fast Track.
