Aldridge Earns Second A-10 Weekly Honor

NEWPORT NEWS, Va. – For the second time this season, Peyton Aldridge of the Davidson men's basketball team has been named Atlantic 10 Co-Player of the Week, as announced by the league office Monday morning.
He shares this week's honor with Richmond's T.J. Cline.
A junior from Leavittsburg, Ohio, Aldridge finished the week averaging 21.0 points, 10.0 rebounds and 2.5 steals.
Following an 18-point, 8-rebound performance against Fordham, Aldridge recorded his third double-double of the season with 24 points and 12 rebounds in Davidson's win over VCU on Saturday.
In addition to his 11th 20-point outing of the season, the 6-7 forward connected on 9-of-17 from the floor, including a pair of 3-pointers, while picking up 3 steals.
Aldridge ranks among league leaders in scoring (3rd), rebounding (6th), field-goal percentage (10th), free-throw percentage (5th), 3-point field-goal percentage (6th), 3-pointers per game (9th), blocked shots (8th) and minutes played (4th).
