AMHERST, Mass. —No. 16 Massachusetts proved too much in Davidson's final regular season game on the road, as it won for the 12th straight time in picking up a 12-5 decision Saturday afternoon in women's lacrosse at Garber Field to finish perfect in Atlantic 10 play.
Davidson will advance to next week's A-10 Championship, earning the No. 5 seed with a 5-4 league mark and will enter with an 8-8 overall record. The Minutewomen grabbed the top seed by going undefeated at 9-0 and improved to 16-1 on the season.
