
Gudmundsson Signs with Men’s Basketball

DAVIDSON, N.C. – Jon Axel Gudmundsson has signed a National Letter of Intent to join the Davidson men's basketball team for the 2016-17 season, as announced by head coach Bob McKillop.
A 6-4 guard, Gudmundsson was born in Hamburg, Germany, but is a citizen of Iceland.
"Jon Axel's versatility and competitive toughness will be a terrific addition to our roster," said McKillop, who just completed his 27th season at the helm of the Wildcats. "His extensive experience competing as a member of Iceland's National Team will serve him well as he makes the transition to Atlantic 10 basketball."
