DAVIDSON, N.C. — Davidson plays host to its second Big South foe of the season Wednesday, when it welcomes High Point to John M. Belk Arena for a 7 p.m. women's basketball contest.
The Wildcats (0-8, 0-0 A-10), who play four of their next five games at home, will be facing the Panthers (1-6, 0-0 Big South) for the sixth consecutive season.
OPENING TIP: Quick Hits ...
•Davidson is in its 38th season and has collected 415 wins in program history.
•The 'Cats are in their third year in the Atlantic 10 after a 21-year run in the SoCon.
•Davidson returns eight letterwinners and three of its five starters from last year's 11-19 team.
•Head coach Michele Savage is in her 7th year (90-108) and has 3-2 record vs. High Point.
Last Games Out at East Tennessee State, Dec. 3 ...
•ETSU hit seven of its game-high 10 three-pointers in the second quarter and Davidson was never able to recover, falling 76-56 last Saturday.
•The Wildcats had leads of 13-10 at the end of the first quarter, then advantages of 17-13 and 21-16 in the second quarter before ETSU went on a 22-4 run to end the quarter and turn a five-point deficit into a 38-25 lead it would not relinquish.

•Mackenzie Latt netted 12 points and tallied her first double-double of the year with a season-high 10 rebounds and added three blocks.

•The Panthers lone win this year came against Brevard College, 89-42, back on Nov. 17.
•Kaylah Keys (10.9) and Harris (10.6) are averaging in double figures on the season.
