Kalinoski Selected to Play in Reese’s All-Star Game

KANSAS CITY, Mo. – On the heels of being named to an AP All-America team, Davidson's Tyler Kalinoski has been selected to participate in the 2015 Reese's College All-Star Game, which will be played on Final Four Friday, April 3, at 4:30 p.m., at Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis.
Kalinoski, who was also named the Atlantic 10 Player of the Year and to the NABC All-District squad, led the Wildcats to the 2015 A-10 Regular Season Crown and their first-ever at-large bid to the NCAA Tournament.
A senior from Overland Park, Kan., Kalinoski concluded the year ranked among A-10 leaders in scoring (16.7/5th), rebounding (5.7/20th), assists (4.1/2nd), 3-point field-goal percentage (.423/7th) and minutes played (34.8/5th), while leading the league in 3-pointers made (91) 3-pointers per game (2.8) and assist/turnover ratio (3.0).
In addition, the 6-4 shooting guard scored in double figures 28 times, hit the 20-point plateau nine times and poured in a career-high 32 points on 12-of-14 shooting, including 8 3-pointers in Davidson's win at Duquesne.
During his four-year standout career, the Wildcats posted a 95-37 overall record, 62-8 conference mark, won four regular season titles, two conference tournament crowns and appeared in four postseason tournaments, including three NCAA trips.
Kalinoski will play for the East Team coached by Nebraska's Tim Miles. Saint Louis head coach Jim Crews will lead the West All-Stars.
The game features 20 of the nation's most outstanding college senior student-athletes selected by the National Association of Basketball Coaches (NABC).
