Match Results vs. Gardner-Webb
DAVIDSON, N.C. — Despite opening the match by taking the doubles point, Davidson was unable to carry over the momentum into singles and Gardner-Webb spoiled the 'Cats' home opener by taking a 4-3 decision Wednesday evening in men's tennis action in the Knobloch Tennis Center.
The Wildcats (0-2) dropped just their second match in 11 tries since 2003 against the Runnin' Bulldogs (3-2), who took four of the six singles matches for the win.
