Sullivan Tabbed Atlantic 10 Co-Player of the Week

NEWPORT NEWS, Va. – Brian Sullivan of the Davidson men's basketball team has been selected Atlantic 10 Co-Player of the Week, as announced by the league office on Monday. Sullivan shares the honor with La Salle's Jordan Price.

For the week, Sullivan averaged 23.5 points, 6.0 assists and 2.5 rebounds, while leading the 'Cats to wins over George Mason and La Salle.

In addition to his 19-point, 7-assist performance against the Patriots, the junior shooting guard became the third transfer and 47th player in a Davidson uniform to hit the 1,000-point plateau.

Sullivan capped his week with a game/season-high 28 points, including four treys and a 12-for-17 effort at the charity stripe in the Wildcats' 77-69 victory at La Salle over the weekend.

This is Sullivan's first weekly nod and marks the seventh time this season a Davidson player has been honored.

Riding a three-game winning streak, Davidson (17-6, 8-4 A-10) returns to the court Wednesday evening with a 7 p.m. tip at George Washington.
