DAVIDSON, N.C. – Freshman goalkeeper Alex Carpenter and the Wildcat defense helped give Davidson its third shutout of the season by scoring a 2-0 victory Thursday evening over St. Bonaventure in a key Atlantic 10 women's soccer matchup at Alumni Stadium.
The Wildcats snapped a two-game skid as they improved to 6-10 overall and 2-5 in league action. The 'Cats are fighting for one of the top eight seeds in the A-10 Tournament, which will be held on the campus of Davidson. The Bonnies saw their two-game win streak end, falling to 5-9-2 overall and 2-5 in A-10 play.
