DAVIDSON, N.C. — Davidson closes out the month of January with a 2 p.m. Atlantic 10 women's basketball contest in John M. Belk Arena against the Hawks of Saint Joseph's.
The 'Cats (5-16, 1-7 A-10) are closing out a nine-game stretch that spanned the entire month of January where they played six of those games at home, including the three straight they played to open the new year.
Game Promotion: Go Red For Women
Fans are encouraged to wear red to the game Saturday as the Davidson women's basketball team is partnering up with the American Heart Association for Women in making Saturday's game a "Go Red For Women." Tee shirts will sold for $15 each and the American Heart Association will also be present to answer questions. The Wildcats are helping to promote National Wear Red Day, which is Feb. 6 as folks are encouraged to wear red in support of the fight against heart disease.
