Davidson’s A-10 Opponents Announced for Inaugural Season

DAVIDSON, N.C. – On Thursday the Atlantic 10 Conference announced the men's basketball league opponents for the 2014-15 season.
Davidson, which will become an official member of the A-10 on July 1, will face each of the 13 conference opponents during the 18-game league slate that features nine home and nine away games.
The Wildcats will play home/home series with Duquesne, George Mason, George Washington, Richmond and VCU. In addition, Davidson will also host Dayton, Fordham, St. Bonaventure and Saint Louis, while also traveling to La Salle, UMass, Rhode Island and Saint Joseph's.
The A-10 is coming off a historical season in which a record six teams earned a bid to the NCAA Tournament, including Dayton's magical run to the Elite Eight, the seventh straight year an A-10 team has reached an NCAA Regional round (Sweet 16). The league also had seven teams ranked or earning votes in the national poll and finished with six teams in the RPI top 50.
The complete 2014-15 conference schedule with dates and times will be announced at a later date.
The 2015 Atlantic 10 Men's Basketball Championship will be played March 11-15, 2015 at The Barclays Center in Brooklyn.
