• Winners of five straight and eight of their last nine, the Wildcats travel to Samford for a 7 p.m. (CST) tip Thursday evening.
• Coming off a 62-43 win over The Citadel, Davidson enters 12-11 overall and 8-1 in SoCon play.
• Despite getting off to a sluggish start against the Bulldogs, the Wildcats broke open a two-point game midway through the second half with a 24-6 run, highlighted by five treys, including three from Jake Belford.
• Along with shooting 60.9 percent after intermission, De'Mon Brooks eclipsed the 20-point plateau for the third straight contest with 23 points on 9-of-10 shooting, while Belford added 11 points off the bench.
• For his efforts in wins over Chattanooga and The Citadel, Brooks was named SoCon Player of the Week for the second time in the last three weeks.
• In conference play, the Wildcats are shooting a league-leading 52.7 percent from the floor, 43.5 percent from 3-point range and 76.7 percent at the charity stripe.
• In addition, Davidson leads the league in almost every statistical category in conference games only. (See page 5 of notes)
• Davidson has won 21 of its last 22 conference games and 28 of 30 dating back to 2011-12.
• The Wildcats are 117-22 (.841) in their last 139 regular-season Southern Conference contests, dating back to the 2006-07 season.
• Davidson has also won 10 straight conference road games.
• Since 2003-04, the Wildcats own a 66-12 record in the month of February.
• In conference play, Brooks is averaging 22.2 points and 8.7 rebounds per game, while shooting 67.0 percent from the floor (75-112).
• Brooks, who was tabbed the Southern Conference Preseason Player of the Year, leads the Wildcats in scoring and rebounding, averaging 18.5 points and 7.3 rebounds per game.
• The backcourt trio of Brian Sullivan (12.1), Tom Droney (10.9) and Tyler Kalinoski (10.9) are also averaging double figures for Davidson.
• Kalinoski paces the team in minutes played (33.4), 3-point field-goal percentage (.461), assists (77) and steals (30).

• Davidson leads the all-time series, which began in the 1992-93 campaign, 8-1.
• The Wildcats are a 3-1 on the road, and all nine meetings between the teams have come during Bob McKillop's tenure at Davidson.

• The basketball court inside John M. Belk Arena at the Baker Sports Complex will be called "McKillop Court", an honor Davidson College officials formally presented at a ceremony celebrating head coach Bob McKillop's 25th season, prior to the Wildcats' game against The Citadel on Saturday, February 1, 2014.
