
Lankiewicz Collects Fourth CCSA Accolade

CHARLOTTE, N.C. – Davidson swimmer Elise Lankiewicz has been named the CCSA Women's Swimmer of the Week for meets competed Jan. 6-12 as announced by the league on Wednesday. Lankiewicz received the honor, her fourth of the season, for her performance in the Wildcats' meet at William & Mary.
The freshman from Wilmington, Del., was the Wildcats' top scorer with 27 points at the meet. Lankiewicz won the 200-yard freestyle with a time of 1:54.16 and claimed the 500-yard freestyle with a mark of 5:02.34. She also touched first in the 200-yard butterfly, clocking in at 2:08.61. In addition to her individual accomplishments, Lankiewicz helped the 400-yard medley relay to a second place finish.
The Wildcats will host CCSA foe Gardner-Webb this Saturday at 1 p.m. in the squad's return to Cannon Pool.
