Davidson to Open with Georgia in 2013 Charleston Classic

DAVIDSON, N.C. – Already set to face one of the nation's toughest non-conference schedules in 2013-14, Davidson learned Wednesday it will take on Georgia in the opening round of the Charleston Classic on Nov. 21 at TD Arena.
The fourth-ever meeting between the Wildcats and 'Dawgs will tip at 5 p.m. on ESPNU.
The 2013 Charleston Classic, an eight-team men's college basketball tournament, will feature 12 games over the three days. Each team will compete in one game per day, advancing through a bracket-tournament format.
ESPN3 will have five exclusive games and ESPNU will air four, while the Championship Game will be shown on Sunday, Nov. 24 at 9 p.m. ET on ESPN2.
Also competing in the annual event are Temple, Clemson, UAB, New Mexico, UMass and Nebraska.
This family-friendly tournament offers the teams a week of practice, play and experiences in and around historic Charleston.
