Kuhlman Named to NABC Honors Court

DAVIDSON, N.C. – Former Davidson men's basketball standout JP Kuhlman has been named to the 2012-13 National Association of Basketball Coaches (NABC) Honors Court, as announced Monday.
In order to be named to the Honors Court, a student-athlete must meet a high standard of academic criteria. The qualifications are as follows:
1. Academically a junior or senior and a varsity player.
2. Cumulative G.P.A. of 3.2 or higher at the conclusion of the 2012-13 academic year.
3. Students must have matriculated at least one year at their current institution.
4. Member of an NCAA Division I, II, III, or NAIA Division I or II institution.
In addition to leading the Wildcats to back-to-back Southern Conference Tournament titles and NCAA Tournament appearances, Kuhlman finished his career as the only men's basketball player in school history with at least 1,000 points, 400 rebounds and 400 assists.
A third-team Capital One Academic All-America selection a year ago, Kuhlman graduated in May with a 3.82 GPA as a religion major.
