McKillop and Team USA Set for World University Games

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. - Davidson head men's basketball coach Bob McKillop is set to guide the 2013 USA Basketball Men's World University Games Team July 7-16 in Kazan, Russia.

The camp began with 26 of the top collegiate players in the country. McKillop and his assistants, Michigan head coach John Beilein and South Carolina head coach Frank Martin, trimmed the roster down to 12.
Held every other year, the 2013 World University Games will be played July 7-16 in Kazan, Russia. Organized by the International University Sports Federation (FISU), the World University Games is a multi-sport competition open to men and women who are between the ages of 17 and 24 (born between January 1, 1989 and December 31, 1995), and are or have been within the past year, a student at a college or university.
McKillop will be looking to guide Team USA to its first gold medal in the event in eight years.
