• Davidson will open 2014 with its final non-conference tilt of the regular season when former SoCon rival College of Charleston comes to Belk Arena for a 2 p.m. New Year's Day contest.
• The Wildcats, who have played five nationally-ranked opponents, enters just its fourth home game 4-9 overall following an 81-70 setback at No. 8/10 Wichita State Sunday.
• Despite the loss, Tyler Kalinoski led Davidson with 17 points on 6-of-7 shooting, including three treys, to go along with six rebounds and six assists.
• Dating back to the 2011-12 season, the Wildcats are 14-3 in the month of January.
• Davidson and the College of Charleston are meeting as non-conference foes for the first time since the 1957-58 season.
• De'Mon Brooks, who was tabbed the Southern Conference Preseason Player of the Year, leads the Wildcats in scoring, averaging 15.3 points per game.
• Brian Sullivan (13.8), Tom Droney (11.9) and Kalinoski (11.2) are also averaging double figures for Davidson.
• Kalinoski paces the team in double-doubles (3), minutes played (34.0), 3-point field-goal percentage (.462), rebounding (79/6.1), assists (45) and steals (17).

• Davidson leads the all-time series, which dates back to the 1926-27 season, 53-14.
• Davidson and the College of Charleston are meeting as non-conference foes for the first time since the 1957-58 season.
• The Wildcats have won three straight, including 74-55 in the 2013 Southern Conference Tournament Championship.
• Davidson is 28-3 against the College of Charleston at home and 21-8 under Bob McKillop.
