• Davidson will play its second straight ranked opponent and fifth of the season when the Wildcats travel to Wichita State for a 2 p.m. (CST) contest Sunday.
• Coming off an overtime setback at nationally-ranked North Carolina on December 21, Davidson enters 4-8 overall.
• In a game that featured nine ties and 15 lead changes, the Wildcats led the Tar Heels 79-77 with 29 seconds left in regulation before Marcus Paige forced the extra session with a pair of free throws.
• Despite the loss, sophomore Brian Sullivan paced four Davidson players in double figures with a career-high 33 points, including seven 3-pointers.
• Five different players have paced the Wildcats in scoring this season.
• The Wildcats are 14-87 all-time when playing a ranked opponent (AP?Poll) and have lost 16 of their last 17.
• De'Mon Brooks, who was tabbed the Southern Conference Preseason Player of the Year, leads the Wildcats in scoring, averaging 16.2 points per game.
• Sullivan (14.3), Tom Droney (11.9) and Tyler Kalinoski (10.8) are also averaging double figures for Davidson.
• Kalinoski paces the team in double-doubles (3), minutes played (33.7), shooting percentage (.484), 3-point field-goal percentage (.442), rebounding (66/6.1), assists (39) and steals (17).

• Joe Ragland tallied 30 points and seven rebounds, and Wichita State shot 80 percent in the second half in a 91-74 ESPN BracketBusters victory over Davidson before a sellout crowd at Belk Arena on Feb. 18, 2012.
• The Shockers were 20-for-25 from the floor in the second half and made 12 shots in a row over a decisive 8:22 of game time. Wichita State went on a 24-7 run during the stretch to open an 84-61 lead with 4:49 left.
• Jake Cohen led Davidson with 25 points, and Chris Czerapowicz finished with 17 points and five rebounds. Nik Cochran collected 16 points and six assists, and De'Mon Brooks scored 10.
