• Davidson has won 21 consecutive home openers. The Wildcats' last home-opening loss was a 76-59 setback against Alabama in 1991.

• In addition to its second straight NCAA Tournament appearance and 12th overall, Davidson finished the 2012-13 campaign with a 26-8 record, marking the fifth time in the last seven seasons the Wildcats have posted 25 or more wins.
• Davidson concluded the 2012-13 season with 17 straight wins before falling to Marquette, 59-58, at the buzzer, in the second round of the NCAA Tournament.
• The Wildcats were picked to finish second in the SoCon preseason poll by both the media and head coaches.
• Davidson returns nine letterwinners from last year's squad, including Southern Conference Preseason Player of the Year De'Mon Brooks.
• Brooks, the 2011 SoCon Player of the Year (coaches) and two-time Tournament MVP, averaged 13.7 points and 6.2 rebounds a year ago, while shooting 50 percent from the floor.
• Bob McKillop, who is the eighth longest-tenured coach in the country, is in his 25th season at the helm of the Wildcats.
• McKillop is the school's and league's all-time winningest coach with a record of 452-280.
• A year ago, McKillop was named SoCon Coach of the Year for a record ninth time.
• With last season's NCAA Tournament appearance, every four-year player in the Davidson program since 1994 will have played in the "Big Dance."

• Jordan Aaron scored a game-high 23 points and Milwaukee shot 53.8 percent in the second half to get past Davidson, 73-68, on Nov. 17, 2012 at the Klotsche Center.
• JP Kuhlman led the Wildcats with 16 points on 6-of-9 shooting. Junior De'Mon Brooks recorded his first double-double of the season with 14 points and 11 boards, while Tyler Kalinoski hit the 10-point plateau for the second straight outing with 14 off the bench to go along with four steals.
• After Davidson pushed its lead to the largest of the game, 41-34, on a Kuhlman 3-pointer, the Panthers responded with a 19-9 run capped off by an Aaron trey to go up, 53-50, with 8:27 to play.
• With the Wildcats up 63-62 at the 2:51 mark following four straight free throws from Nik Cochran, Milwaukee got a 3-pointer and pair of freebies from Kelm in consecutive trips to go up for good.
• Davidson shot just 35.6 percent from the floor and hit only four of their 14 attempts from 3-point range. The Panthers finished the contest shooting 42.9 percent (21-49) overall and 24-of-32 (.750) at the line.
Tough Schedule
• Once again Davidson will tackle one of the nation's toughest non-conference schedules, which includes contests with Duke, Virginia, Georgia, Temple/Clemson, Drexel, North Carolina, Wichita State and College of Charleston.

opponents are ranked in the preseason Top-25
• All told, eight teams advanced to postseason play a year ago, including three that finished with RPIs in the Top-20, according to the NCAA's RPI ratings.
