• Davidson will wrap up its second appearance in the Charleston Classic when it takes on No. 19/20 New Mexico in Sunday's third-place game at noon on ESPNU.
• The Wildcats enter 1-4 on the young season following an 85-54 setback to Clemson in Friday evening's semifinals.
• Sunday's meeting with the Lobos will be Davidson's third against a nationally-ranked opponent through six games.
• Davidson is 14-85 all-time when playing a ranked opponent (AP?Poll) and has lost 14 of its last 15.
• The Wildcats last win over a ranked opponent came on Dec. 19, 2011 when they defeated then-ranked No. 12/11 Kansas, 80-74, in Kansas City.

• All told, nine teams advanced to postseason play a year ago, including four that finished with RPIs in the Top-20, according to the NCAA's RPI ratings.
