DAVIDSON, N.C. - The Davidson men's basketball program was ranked as the 44th most successful in the last 50 years based on a point system devised by the ESPN Stats & Information department, and ranks 25th since 2000. Read the article here.
ESPN noted that within the first decade of the 50-year project, Davidson ranked fifth overall, trailing UCLA, Kentucky, North Carolina and Duke. Fans can vote on which Davidson team they believe was the best - 1964-65, 1968-69 and 2007-08.
