Davidson Men’s Soccer Adds Two Transfers

DAVIDSON, N.C. – Davidson men's soccer head coach Matt Spear announced the addition of two transfers Monday, as midfielder Alan Reiter (NC State) and goalkeeper Matt Pacifici (Wake Forest) will join the Wildcats starting with the 2012 season.
Reiter, a sophomore and native of Westport, Conn., is the younger brother of 2009 Southern Conference Men's Soccer Player of the Year Charlie Reiter, who graduated from Davidson in 2010. Pacifici, a sophomore, is a local product from Charlotte and attended Charlotte Catholic, where he was named an ESPN RISE First Team All-American as a goalkeeper and was also an NSCAA Scholar All-American.
“We are extremely excited to add Alan and Matt to our team,” said Spear. “Their experience inside quality ACC programs provides many lessons learned and they will help impact our team's increasing ambition.”
The pair will join six freshmen as Wildcats newcomers for the 2012 season.

His skillset and position knowledge are excellent, so his transition into college soccer matches should be smooth.
