Tournament Information
The 2012 Old Spice Classic, a bracket-format tournament, will feature 12 games over the three days. Each team will compete in one game per day, advancing through a bracket-tournament format. The two teams that remain undefeated throughout will face off in a championship on Sunday, Nov. 25. The eight-team field will feature Davidson, Clemson, Gonzaga, Marist, Oklahoma, UTEP, Vanderbilt and West Virginia. The event is being played in Orlando, Fla., at the ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex.

• Davidson enters the 2012 Old Spice Classic 1-2 on the season following a 73-68 setback at UW-Milwaukee on Saturday evening.
• Davidson's current stretch of six games in between home contests is its longest during the regular season since the 1999-2000 campaign when the Wildcats played seven straight away from Belk Arena.
• Five Davidson players are averaging double figures through the first three contests, including De'Mon Brooks, who is contributing 20.0 per game.
• The Wildcats have led at the half in each of their first three contests.
• Davidson opponents are a combined 79-of-105 (.752) at the charity stripe. As a team, the Wildcats are shooting 76.7 percent (56-73) at the line, but have attempted six fewer than their opponents have made.
• Davidson is 19-6 in its last 25 contests, dating back to the last game of the 2011 calendar year.
Series Notes
• Vanderbilt leads the all-time series, which began in 1967, 5-1 and has defeated the Wildcats each of the last two years.
• This marks the third consecutive season Davidson and Vanderbilt have met on the hardwood.
• Last season, the Commodores held off Davidson, 87-83, on Dec. 7, 2011 in Belk Arena.
• On Jan. 2, 2011, No. 24 Vanderbilt handed Davidson its most lopsided loss since a 75-47 setback at eighth-ranked Duke in 2006.
• The 'Cats and Commodores played twice during the 1967-68 season, and Vandy won both meetings. The Commodores won 81-79 in overtime at home Dec. 12, and then defeated Davidson 80-67 later in the month at the Sugar Bowl Tournament.
• Davidson's lone win over Vanderbilt came during the Lefty Driesell era when the 'Cats defeated the Commodores, 101-84, on Dec. 7, 1968 in Charlotte.

Last Time Out
• Jordan Aaron scored a game-high 23 points and Milwaukee shot 53.8 percent in the second half to get past Davidson, 73-68, in non-conference men's basketball action Saturday evening at the Klotsche Center.
• JP Kuhlman led three Wildcats in double figures with 16 points on 6-of-9 shooting. Junior De'Mon Brooks recorded his first double-double of the season with 14 points and 11 boards, while Tyler Kalinoski hit the 10-point plateau for the second straight outing with 14 off the bench to go along with four steals.
• Demetrius Harris and Kyle Kelm also scored in double digits for the Panthers with 17 and 11, respectively.
• After Davidson (1-2) pushed its lead to the largest of the game, 41-34, on a Kuhlman 3-pointer, the Panthers responded with a 19-9 run capped off by an Aaron trey to go up, 53-50, with 8:27 to play.
• With the Wildcats up 63-62 at the 2:51 mark following four straight free throws from Nik Cochran, Milwaukee (2-1) got a 3-pointer and pair of freebies from Kelm in consecutive trips to go up for good.
• Davidson shot just 35.6 percent from the floor and hit only four of their 14 attempts from long range. The Panthers finished the contest shooting 42.9 percent (21-49) overall and 24-of-32 (.750) at the charity stripe.
• Despite the setback, the Wildcats held a 41-35 advantage on the glass, including 16 at the offensive end.
• Both teams struggled from the floor in the opening half as the 'Cats went to the break up, 31-30. In addition to holding the Panthers to just seven field goals in the first 20 minutes of action, Davidson got 11 points from Kuhlman in the period.

• A year ago, Nik Cochran led the league and ranked 13th nationally in free-throw shooting, making 88.6 percent of his attempts.
• A career 87.6 percent shooter at the charity stripe, Cochran has made 22 of his last 23 free throws dating back to last season.
