Last Time Out...
... Davidson — Freshman Ann Fucigna reached the 30-goal mark on the season with four goals and Davidson picked up its third straight win with a 12-8 road victory at Liberty last Sunday afternoon in NLC action.
Fucigna became the second Wildcat to reach the 30-goal mark this year with 31, joining Alanna Parker (32). The freshman scored two of her four goals during a 5-1 run at the end of the first half and into the start of the second half that turned a 4-3 Liberty lead into an 8-5 Wildcat advantage. The 'Cats never looked back in taking the win.
Davidson was aggressive on the offensive and defensive ends all afternoon. The 'Cats fired off a season-high tying 33 shots, putting 25 of them on goal, and forced the Flames into 22 turnovers, causing 11 of them. Four of the caused turnovers were from the stick of senior Lily Graham, a career-high for the senior.
Overall, Davidson had 22 groundballs to match its season-best set vs. Howard, Apr. 3.
... High Point — The Panthers got four goals each from Grace Gaeng and Chelsea Thompson en route to a 17-4 victory over Liberty on Wednesday.

High Point ran out to a 12-3 lead at halftime. The Panthers were able to get everyone on the field then in the second half as they controlled the game the rest of the way, scoring five goals in a span of 11 minutes to go up 17-3.
Gaeng hit two milestones in the first half: she picked up her 20th assist and scored her 40th goal. She ranked 11th in the nation in points entering the game and posted six against Liberty, bringing her total to 62 (41-21-62).
