Men’s Basketball Game at Butler to be Televised Locally on WJZY

DAVIDSON, N.C. - The Davidson men's basketball game at Butler Nov. 14 will be televised live in the greater Charlotte Metropolitan region on WJZY-TV 46 (Cable Ch. 8). The channel is available through Time Warner Cable and MI-Connection.
Jim Barbar, an ESPN commentator, will provide the play by play with former Bowling Green and Indiana University coach, Dan Dakich, providing the color commentary. Coverage begins at 2 p.m. Check your local listings to find WJZY in your area.
Saturday's telecast also will be available on satellite on WHT (ATT U-verse channel 578) and Direct TV.
Davidson returns 10 letterwinners and two starters from last year's team, which posted a 27-8 record and made a postseason appearance for the fifth straight campaign, advancing to the NIT second round.
The Bulldogs are coming off a 26-6 campaign and a Horizon League championship season. Butler returns all five starters and is ranked 11th in the Associated Press Poll and No. 10 in the ESPN/USA Today Coaches Poll.
